12 Month Min Contract Term. There is a set-up fee for all packages. All prices are including VAT and are billed monthly in advance by Direct Debit. *You must be wired in using an ethernet cable if you want to achieve speeds greater than 500Mbps. 30-Day Cooling-off Period – Mersey Fibre allows you to cancel at any time up to the 30th day your service is first active without incurring any charges. Prices are fixed for 2 years and will rise by £2 a month at most thereafter. Normally, it’s 10 working days and can be shortened to 5 working days for a small extra fee. If you already have Mersey Fibre installed and a router present, we can get you switched on the same day that you move in. Contact us for more info on this.
Yes you can, if you already have a Mersey Fibre wall port, you can begin using the service right now, which means we should not need to come out to your property.
When we install your router, it will have a built-in SIM card that connects to our own Private 5G network that is available throughout the Liverpool City Region.
If the Fibre that feeds your building is damaged or the service is interrupted at any point, the 4G/5G SIm card will take over and continue to provide your service just as before.
If your service is interrupted, our teams will be notified immediately and we will begin an investigation into it, until then, your business is still able to function, albeit at reduced speeds while operating on the 4G/5G backup.
If you have any static IP addresses, these will continue to work just as before.
Private WiFi is the WiFi that is used for your business, like your payment terminals, staff’s devices, laptops, computers etc.
Guest WiFi is a separate WiFi name and password that you can provide guests like customers. Having a separate WiFi is important as it is a separate network and therefore kept separate and secure from your private business one.
Our flexible tariffs means that you can upgrade or downgrade your package at any time throughout your contract. This is ideal for seasonal businesses or those that need faster packages at peak business times, but want the ability to reduce it at any point.
You can upgrade or downgrade your package with Mersey Fibre Business as many times as you like.
Yes, our prices are fixed for 2 years from when you sign up. We won’t raise the price on you at any time, no excuses. This promise allows your business to budget 2 years ahead. Don’t worry, after 2 years, we’d only ever raise the price by £2/month at the most anyway.
We'll supply a high grade business broadband router with your service, which will be decided on when you place your order with us.
Every Mersey Fibre business router has a phone port on the back of it that allows you to plug in a landline phone.
Once activated, you can choose a local phone number for your inbound calls, while selecting from a competitive outbound phone package to suit, which comes with inclusive minutes each month.
Customers can also add-on a range of other services, such as call recording, dual ringing (with your mobile) and music on hold etc.
